Directions to Visiting Football Facilities

Helena

I 65 South to Valleydale Rd, Right onto Valleydale, after 1mi you will go across Hwy 31, stay on Valleydale which becomes 261 (Helena Rd). Park is about 4.5 miles ahead on right (just past Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church). If you reach the railroad tracks, you have passed the park.

Oak Mountain

The field is directly behind the High School, in the back of the

complex, sitting above the other fields.

Directions from I 65:

I 65 south to Hwy 119 (10 miles from Oxmoor Rd, exit 246),

Left on 119, 3 miles to Cadwell Mill Rd,

Left on Cadwell Mill Rd, 1/2 mile to Oak Mountain HS, HS on left

Directions from 280:

280 south, 1 mile after Water Works,

Right at next light, (Dolly Ridge Rd @light,but becomes CahabaRiver Rd) 1mi on Cahaba River Rd to Acton Rd,

Right on Acton Rd, 1/2 on Acton to Camp Horner Rd,

Left on Camp Horner Rd - 4 miles to Oak Mountain High School,

Park on Right (at about 3 miles, you pass a new Publix and othershopping)

Pelham

I 65 south to Exit 246, Hwy 119,(Oak Mountain State Park)

Right on Hwy 119 for 3/4 mile to Hwy 31. Left on Hwy 31. Park is 2

miles south on right.

Thompson

I 65 south to Hwy 31,Alabaster/Saginaw exit, right on Hwy 31. 1/2 mile to first light, Take left onto Hwy 11/Hwy119, Next light right, then immediate left onto Sixth Ave, Park 1/4 mile ahead on left

Thompson High School Stadium

Take I 65 south to Hwy 31, Alabaster/Saginaw exit, right on Hwy31. 1/2 mile to first light,   Turn left onto Hwy 119, cross over the RR tracks. Continue about a mile and crossover the RR tracks again. Turn at the 2nd right into the parking lot. There is plenty of parking in the back.

For additional parking..........

Continue on Hwy 119 to the red light and turn right onto ThompsonRd. You will see stadium on the right.

Parking is available on lots by baseball field.

Vestavia

Hwy 280 or I65 South to I459.   East on I 459 toward Atlanta/Gadsden, take Exit 23 (LibertyParkway). Turn right at top of ramp and go approximately 200 yards to stop sign and turn right onto Liberty Parkway. Stay on Liberty Parkway, go through 3 stop signs and 1 yield sign ( approximately 3 miles from exit). Turn right into Vestavia (Liberty Park) Sports Complex, go past Softball fields on left approximately 1/4-1/2 mile until road feeds into Parking lot for Football/Soccer Complex. Football field will be at bottom of Parking lot on Right. (There is a gate on Sicard Hollow Rd.)
